Building a Soaring City at Uptown
Mark Sharpe started an experiment three years ago, involving remote work & full-bore commuting over 3,000 miles per week, which was conceived in part to provide an immersive experience in telecommuting and transit-oriented development.
It was an opportunity to immerse himself in Transit-Oriented Development – learning its strengths and weaknesses from every angle – experimenting with all variations of mobility all while sleeping on an Air BNB mattress.
On this episode of The Grit Daily Podcast, Mark talks about the Soaring City Innovation Partnership, which is an inclusive 501(c)3 non-profit innovation ecosystem developer and institute offering services and resources to entrepreneurs, artists, and community builders through a neighborhood and network of virtual and physical community spaces, places, and programs.
