Soaring City Innovation Partnership, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to promoting local economic innovation, infrastructure, entrepreneurship, business and workforce development, research, and education, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs. Martika Brianne Jones as the new Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EIR).
Mrs. Jones, founder & CEO of BUP, brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and an innovative vision to the role, promising to build on the work of her predecessor, Brian Alvarez-Bailey. Her commitment to community engagement, economic development, and business innovation makes her a vital addition to the Soaring City team.
In her role as EIR, Mrs. Jones will be responsible for executing a wide range of initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, supporting infrastructure and business development, promoting workforce development and education, conducting research and analysis, and engaging with the community.

Mrs. Jones’ proposed vision for her tenure as EIR includes the development of a comprehensive local entrepreneurship ecosystem, facilitating public-private partnerships, expanding job training and educational programs, conducting data-driven research and analysis, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.
